Kelland has lived most of his life in Seattle, taking a few years away to attend college at Western Washington University. He spent some of his 20's in pursuit of a professional acting career, which landed him on the boards of many of the most prestigious regional theatres in the country. In the interest of avoiding a nomadic lifestyle that would take him away from an incredible family life and friends, he shifted gears into real estate in the late 90's, and has flourished ever since.
